How About Something Totally Different

A few months back I met a fantastic young designer at a party. She is so exited about design and truly is inspiring.

Tanya Huang the founder of Knot Theory has re-invented the neck tie. I am impressed with the level of detail and thought she has put into her product. If you take a moment to browse her company website you will find that her designs are stunning. You will also find that she has thought a lot about how to maintain the beauty of her work. By making her ties self closing she maintains the life of the materials they are made from.

I asked Tanya to describe her vision:
“My vision for Knot Theory is to re-brand and re-invent neckties as creative, attractive, and statement-making accessories. Tweaks to the classic tie have been moderate in the past nine decades. By being the first to make such bold changes in the design and construction of ties, I hope we conveyed Knot Theory’s philosophy of living boldly and not be afraid to try new things!”
