ERKA Interior Design is a boutique studio with a modern and innovative approach to interior design.
We are a boutique design firm that was established in early 2009 by second generation Interior Designer Erika Sivertson. Erika worked in Vancouver for 10 years as a professional Interior Designer before opening ERKA Interior Design.
ERKA Interior Design has three goals; to create spaces that are functional, to create spaces that are beautiful and of course to create spaces that our clients love.
By working closely with our clients, we produce spaces that both suit the client and are visually appealing. At ERKA Interior Design, the number one priority is to always understand the clients needs and deliver answers that exceed the clients’ expectations. While we bring a professional eye to design, we feel it is also important to interpret what the client ultimately wants and needs.
With a special interest in producing unique spaces we offer custom designed mill-work and furniture where-ever possible. When we fill our clients needs we also want them to love their space and know it is unique.

When designing our spaces ERKA Interior Design takes a special interest in using natural materials and as many locally manufactured custom pieces as possible. This is a great opportunity to find products that are naturally beautiful and more importantly responsible. Initial design consultation meetings are at no charge and will include a meeting to discuss at length the goal of the project. A design proposal will then be drawn up to outline the scope of the project. A deposit is required on signing of the proposal prior to the start of the design process. The design will then be developed through a series of phases from concept to completion. The client will be responsible to sign off on the design at specified meetings with the Principal Designer along the way and we will coordinate the rest.
Design services are available at our hourly rates which are available upon request.
A set fee design package is available dependent on the scope and budget of the project as outlined by the client.
Custom furniture to be charged a design fee + coordination of manufacturing fee.
Custom art to be charged a predetermined fee based on size and timing required.
